This is one of our newest parks! Located immediately on the west side of the Wateree River, north of Highway 1, Veterans Park includes a paved walking path a little under half a mile long. It also has a boat launch for your canoe or kayak. This park has the potential to be an important centerpiece of future trail expansions. Visit and enjoy!
The goal of this project is to find a provider of canoe and kayak shuttle services to work out of Camden Environmental Park or Wateree River Veterans Park to provide Dam to Camden and Camden to Boykin shuttle service.

The potential exists to develop a trail from Wateree River Veterans Park to the Lake Wateree dam on the Lugoff side of the Wateree River. Power lines currently connect the park with the dam.
